Party Congress 10 - School of Engineering and Technology, The seventh term 2022 - 2025
(TVU) – On April 28 and 29, Party Congress 10 - School of Engineering and Technology took place successfully, 46 party members attended the Congress.
The Congress was honored to welcome Mr. Le Thanh Tuan, member of the Standing Committee - Head of the Organization Department of the Unit Party Committee, and Mr. Nguyen Thi Phuong, Party Member - Deputy Head of the Propagate Department of the Party Committee of Agencies and Enterprises. Tra Vinh province and Mr. Pham Tiet Khanh, Secretary of the Party Committee of Tra Vinh University, Rector of Tra Vinh University attended and directed the Congress.
The Congress focused on reporting and evaluating the results of the implementation of the Resolution for the term 2020 - 2022 and discussing and setting out specific directions for the term 2022 - 2025. During the last term, the Party achieved a number of important results, creating new changes in the implementation of political tasks, a number of activities achieved and exceeded the targets and plans such as: scientific research with 177 domestic and international articles, exceeding the target by more than 300%; accreditation and quality assurance with ABET; improving the professional qualifications of the lecturers and the political qualifications of the Party members; community development and support, etc. The results in the last term have confirmed the constantly improved training quality of the University in general, School of Engineering and Technology in particular.
The congress seriously considered and discussed the requirements, standards, structure and quantity in the personnel project of Party Committee, term 2022 - 2025. The Congress voted 7 comrades to the Executive Committee and elected the position of office. Mr. Nguyen Thai Son continued to be selected as Secretary and comrade Phan Tan Tai as Deputy Secretary of the Party, term 2020 - 2025.
Mr. Pham Tiet Khanh - Secretary of the Party Committee of the University, Rector of Tra Vinh University recognized and praised the achievements in the past term, especially one of the members of the Party Committee. A number of highly effective projects such as ABET international program, scientific research with many international publications as well as technology transfer to serve the community and in counsel admissions.
