BUILDING A STRUCTURAL MODEL OF A REINFORCED CONCRETE STAIRCASE USING SAP2000 SOFTWARE VERSION 16
Abstract:
In modern life, there are more and more architectural works with diverse new structures, that create beautiful accents for users, and the stairs are an indispensable part of contributing to the formation of unique and different features. The stairs both perform the task of vertical traffic and combine with the harmonious space between floors to decorate and beautify the building. Depending on the function and the use, the designer will arrange a straight or curved staircase for the building. Besides, the building model of stairs today has many complicated methods that require accurate data and inter-linking between software, causing difficulties for users. Therefore, in order for the engineer to accurately build the stair model into the calculation, within the scope of this article, the author will guide the creation of a staircase model in the form of bearing slopes and bearing beams (herringbone shape) with Sap2000 V16 software to help users easily manipulate during the structural design process.
