Abstract:
In Viet Nam, the recognition of human gait is a relatively new field, the amount
of research on this topic is not much. However, in recent years, this field has received the
attention and investment of many researchers, reflected in the number of conferences, the
number of domestic and international articles increasing, many research groups have
achieved some positive initial results. The content of the presentation presents an overview
of gait analysis which focuses on identifying features and based on skeleton data. The
device used to recognize gait is Kinect Xbox 360 which is a sensor device developed by
Microsoft that is widely used in the fields of entertainment, fashion, medical. In the proposed
model initially collecting data, collecting information about the patient's health status through
sensors. The SVM machine learning method will then be used to classify the data. The main
goal of the presentation is to build a skeleton database using one or more Kinect 360
cameras of Microsoft to record the motion of the object, then extract feature information.
