Abstract:
Today information technology is strongly applied in all areas of social life. In particular, computer vision is increasingly being researched by scientists and they focusing on algorithms to develop applications for human life. Researches in the field of identification have launched applications such as facial recognition, vehicle number plate recognition, human behavior recognition, traffic sign recognition. In this paper, the authors present the approach to facial recognition using the PCA method, data taken from the camera. Identification can be achieved by methods such as (1) global approach (Eigenfaces-PCA, Fisherfaces-LDA), (2) approach based on local characteristics (LBP, Gabor wavelets) and (3) hybrid methods (a combination of two global methods and local characteristics). The paper is divided into 3 stages as follows: Training phase, information recording stage, and identification stage. The training phase uses camera data, the object information storage stage is stored in the SQLite database, and the identification stage will rely on the training data to give user information corresponding to the data stored in SQLite.
