Abstract:
Coconut tree is one of the main economic trees in the Southwestern provinces. Products made from coconut husk bring about local economic potential such as: coir fiber, coir mats, coir pots, coco peat, ...v...v. The coconut shell is separated from the coconut by the manual method, which is time-consuming and has the potential for occupational accidents. To overcome this limitation, it is necessary to improve the shelling and safety by manufacturing a coconut shelling machine for silk production in Tra Vinh Province. The shelling machine is designed with the principle of two-axis rollers with different tooth-shaped profiles arranged on that. Calculate the load and torque required on the split shaft and the split teeth for natural main coconut and dried coconut (brown skin). Optimize the profile and the number of split teeth on the axis with the minimum force.
