Abstract:
The SCADA (Supervisory Control And Data Acquisition) system is a combination of hardware and software in a communication mode to automation the management, monitoring and controling for an industrial object, which would significantly reducing the cost of manpower, control operation, contributing significantly to reducing product costs and increasing competitiveness [1]. Recognizing the importance of SCADA system, the research team implemented the project: "Installation SCADA system for PLC S7 - 1200 Laboratory" at Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Tra Vinh University.
The research team built a SCADA model based on existing devices, models, and some SIEMENS equipmentand software such as LOGO !, PLC S7-1200, Simatic HMI screen, SIMATIC STEP 7 software, SIMATIC WinCC. The group designed monitoring and control system including 2 engine system, traffic light system, and fuel mixing system.
As a result, the team completed the basic SCADA system as expected. This system has worked well, and put into teaching.
