Abstract:
This research examines the change in compressive strength of concrete using conventional macadam aggregate and medical glass aggregate. The first experiment: Concrete classes applied for comparison with the content of 50% glass and 100% glass shall substitute for conventional gravel aggregates in compliance with volume and using controlled aggregates is likely equivalent to class B15 and B20. The second experiment reviews the different grades of glass concrete with a durable equivalent of B15. Mixing grades using 100% aggregates are medical glass and small aggregates of sand. Research has shown that the applicable combination or complete replacement of class percentages instead of aggregate is quite feasible in terms of compressive strength. Furthermore, it shall be contributed to the solid waste treatment in local health care and created a buildable product that is fully practical in use. In addition, the results show that the compressive strength of glass concrete depends greatly on the strength of the glass material.
