Abstract:
Stereo images have a pair of images, the left and right images, the images are the same size and have a lot of similar block pairs. In this paper, we proposed a reversible data hiding scheme based on histogram shifting and EMD mechanism. In this proposed scheme, a histogram shifting is constructed by DCT-quantized coefficients blocks with the size of 8×8 of the left image and the right image. Once most of DCT-quantized coefficients pairs of stereo images are close to zero values (0, 0), these DCT-quantized coefficients pairs are selected for embedding data based on optimum EMD table to achieve high embedding capacity. Experimental results show that our method can achieve 40% better performance compared with the related works in terms of embedding capacity.
